Rob is a highly experienced Manipulative Physiotherapist with over 29 years in private practice and at elite levels of sport. His career includes senior positions as Head of Medicine at London Scottish RFC and over a decade as Chief Medical Officer at Guildford Rugby Club. He has also worked as an NHS Clinical Specialist in lower limb disorders before progressing to Consultant level in complex orthopaedic rehabilitation. Rob graduated from King’s College London in 1995 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy, and went on to complete a master’s-level MMACP qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy at Brighton University in 2004. This advanced training underpins his expertise in manual therapy techniques, combined with tailored rehabilitation programmes designed to maximise patient outcomes. Rob is also fully qualified with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in equipment-based Clinical Pilates, which he integrates into treatment programmes to enhance strength, stability, and recovery. In addition, he is qualified in acupuncture and frequently incorporates this into care plans to support pain management and healing. He has extensive experience treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and high-performance athletes, and is recognised locally as one of the most experienced physiotherapists in Godalming and the surrounding Surrey area. His clinical approach is hands-on, evidence-based, and always tailored to individual needs.
