The Running Clinic
New Title
Summary
Our new program for:
- Runners that want to improve their training program and technique, prevent injury and boost performance.

- Those who have experienced running injuries that they would like to rehabilitate, optimise recovery for and return to running.
1:1 sessions every other Saturday with our running expert Physiotherapist, Dan Toms. Sessions include a Physio consultation, gait analysis, strength and flexibility assessments and personalized recovery plans.
Our running clinic is for:
- Beginner runners - to learn proper running form, warm up techniques and injury prevention strategies early on and to build a strong foundation to reduce the risk of overuse injuries.
- Recreational and competitive runners - to improve performance through gait analysis, strength training and personalized programming. Recurring issues such as shin splints, knee pain or plantar fasciitis can also be addressed.
- Runners recovering from injury - to get expert guidance on safe return-to-run plans and to identify the underlying causes of injury for example poor mechanics or muscle imbalances.
- Athletes cross-training with running - cyclists, swimmers or team sports athletes who run as part of their training can optimize form and prevent overuse injuries.
- Older adults or masters runners - tailored assessments to manage age-related changes in mobility, joint health and recovery.
- Runners with chronic conditions - those with arthritis, tendonitis, or past surgeries benefit from a supervised and safe approach to running.
- Anyone looking to improve running efficiency - reduce energy waste, improve biomechanics, and make running feel easier and more enjoyable.
Run smarter, stronger and pain-free – we’ll help you go the extra mile!
Gait Analysis
Gait Analysis is the study of how a person walks (their gait) to assess movement patterns, identify abnormalities, and help diagnose conditions or improve performance.
Uses of gait analysis:
- Identify abnormal walking patterns (e.g., limping, dragging a foot)
- Determine the underlying cause (muscle weakness, joint restriction, neurological issues)
- Design a personalized treatment plan
- Monitor recovery and progress
